Hanging Tree Cow Dogs

We started raising these stock dogs because they were the best dogs for what we do, which is team rope, dog-break cattle for people. We also gather cattle for people. We use our main stud dog "sport" all the time when we're team roping and use him to do dog demonstrations and start new pups to make sure we keep things under control. These stock dogs are known for their courage and ability to handle any kind of cattle from weanlings to cow calf pairs. These stock dogs are catahoula leopard dog border collie and Australian kelpie. These are short or slick-haired dogs with bob tails. To register one of these stock dogs through the American cow dog association, you have to have a video of them hitting heads and heels of cattle and they have to be short and slick-haired. These dogs come in a lot of different colors from black to merles.

I live in Newberg, Oregon and have been raising and training stock dogs for about 8 years now.

I have done several cow dog demonstrations ranging from the Oregon state fair, the Yamhill county fair, and for private parties.

We have for sale pups and started dogs.
